The Holy Cross of Davao College successfully hosted the event in collaboration with Waseda Setsuryo High School from Japan, bringing together students from both countries for a vibrant and engaging cultural exchange.<\/p><p>The event was enlivened by a special chit-chat session, a testament to the active participation of students from various DACUN member schools: Assumption College of Davao, Brokenshire College, University of the Immaculate Conception, University of Mindanao, and University of Southeastern Philippines. This session allowed Filipino students to interact directly with their Japanese counterparts, leading to lively conversations filled with laughter, learning, and the sharing of experiences.<\/p><p>The chit-chat session provided a platform for students to discuss various topics, ranging from school life and cultural differences to future aspirations and hobbies. This unique opportunity not only allowed students to practice their language skills but also fostered a deeper understanding of each other\u2019s cultures, strengthening the bonds between the two educational communities.<\/p><p>Participants from both sides expressed their excitement and appreciation for the event. Filipino students were particularly enthusiastic about learning more about Japanese culture and education, while the Japanese students thoroughly enjoyed the warm hospitality and eagerness of their Filipino peers to engage in meaningful conversations.<\/p><p>The success of this event underscores the importance of international collaboration in education. By facilitating these exchanges, DACUN and its partner institutions are paving the way for a more globally connected and culturally aware student body. Such initiatives are vital in preparing students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.<\/p><p>As the host of this event, the Holy Cross of Davao College demonstrated its commitment to providing students with opportunities that go beyond the classroom. The institution&#8217;s dedication to internationalization efforts ensures that its students are not only academically equipped but also culturally competent and ready to take on challenges in a global setting.<\/p><p>This event with Waseda Setsuryo High School is just the beginning of a series of future endeavors planned by the DACUN &#8211; Internationalization and Linkages Committee.
