DAVAO CITY—Assumption College of Davao (ACD) made its mark at the 6th GENtrepreneurZ: ABM International Convention, with students from the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) Strand bagging top ranks during the two-day event on January 30-31, 2025.
Adrian E. Silagan and Dana L. Tajo were crowned champions in the Business Finance Quiz Bee, bringing pride to their alma mater.
Another pair of representatives from ACD, Janine Rose V. Rin and Nerchel Angel B. Gibertas, claimed the 1st runner-up title in the Fundamentals of Accountancy and Business Management (FABM) 1 and 2 Quiz Bee.
For Gibertas, the achievement was beyond her expectations. “Winning the first place and representing Assumption College of Davao at the ABM International Convention felt surreal,” she shared.
Filled with pride, she described the experience as a momentous opportunity. “It really felt like I was part of something bigger, representing not just myself and my partner but the whole school,” she added.
The competition, which featured participants from six other schools nationwide, was held in Tuguegarao City, showcasing the brightest talents in the ABM field.
