ACD Research and Publication Office Hosts Successful Triple Proposal Defense

On July 23, 2026, three research teams successfully presented their research proposal defenses in the College Conference Room at Assumption College of Davao, showcasing their dedication to scholarly inquiry and commitment to producing research that contributes to academic and community development.

The first research team, composed of Dr. Maria Liza A. Baldonado, Dr. Cristy Q. Efondo, Evelinda Castillo, MAEd, and Dandie Fernandez, MATRE, presented their study titled “Empowerment through Literacy: Narratives of Change among Women Beneficiaries of a Literacy and Numeracy Extension Program.”

The second presenters, Niño Ojanola, MAEd-TE, and Irish Lopez, MAEd, defended their research titled “Employer Satisfaction with Job Performance of Teacher Education Graduates.”

Completing the series of proposal defenses, the third presenter, Rezil A. Fernandez, RSW, presented the study titled “Employer Satisfaction with Job Performance of Social Work Graduates: Basis for Program Enhancement.”

The proposal defense served as an important milestone in each research team’s scholarly journey, providing an opportunity to refine their studies through the panel’s constructive insights and recommendations. Their research topics reflect a shared commitment to addressing educational and societal concerns through rigorous and evidence-based investigation.
