ACD’s Multimedia Project bags  RECAST grant

March 16 — The  Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) and Inteligente Publishing Inc. visited Assumption College of Davao for the turnover of the RECAST grant to the institution.

PEAC with the collaboration of the Inteligente Publishing Inc. granted 10 lucky schools all over the Philippines of a RECAST program that “provides support to private schools making the transition to online learning.”

 

During the turnover in the afternoon of March 16th, guests from the Inteligente Publishing, Inc. and Private Education Assistance Committee were present including the Vice President of the Inteligente Publishing- Ms. Lowela G. Malangen and the PEAC Executive Director- Ms. Rhodora Angela Fernandez-Ferrer.

In her speech, the PEAC Executive Director pointed out the alarming state of the educational system in the Philippines where the country lagged behind the average level of world ranking. She then acknowledged the school’s effort for its continuous adherence to its mission.

The Director for Academic Affairs of ACD, Dr. Giovanni Montejo, poured out his gratitude to PEAC and Inteligente Publishing, Inc. for choosing Assumption College of Davao as one of the RECAST awardees.

The RECAST project is expected to be utilized for S.Y. 2022-2023.
