The Research and Publication Office proudly congratulates the research team composed of Marnilyn P. Borongan, MEd-LT, Edwin A. Acain, PhD, Stephanie V. Villadores, Maribel C. Sacnan, and Wilchie M. Malbas on the successful publication of their research in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Perspectives, an international peer-reviewed academic journal.
Their study, “Reading Habits and Social Media Use as Predictors of Students’ Autonomy in Language Reading Comprehension,” investigates how students’ reading habits and social media use relate to the development of autonomous learning in language reading comprehension. The publication contributes to the growing body of research on literacy, language education, and the role of digital technologies in shaping students’ learning experiences.
